Incase you didn’t know
Polycystic ovarian syndrome leads to excess estrogen production, which has been linked to increased endometrial cancer risk.
Endometrial cancer is the form of uterine cancer that’s most commonly diagnosed. Women can be at higher risk for endometrial cancer for several reasons, including health conditions and lifestyle factors that can boost their estrogen levels. Polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, is one of those health conditions known to increase a woman’s chances of developing endometrial cancer.
If you want to know more about #pcos you can try google and research it but I will also post on it from time to time 😊 #bbbg #iweartealforme

These past few months I’ve been beating myself up those who are close to me know that Im my hardest critic but slowly day by day I’ve began to motivate myself .
There is only a few people I look up to and respect besides my mom , ( @trinibanna & @deejaypuffy ) . They always tell me that #selfmotivation is key it’s something you need daily within your life.
So as I motivate myself through these posts I pray it encourages someone to start it within their life .
The scripture says:
“…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6, NIV)
Sometimes when God is doing a work in our lives, it can begin to feel a little uncomfortable. We may encounter people who are hard to get along with or have circumstances that seem beyond our control. When this happens, instead of complaining, getting sour or trying to change everything around you, why don’t you look deep inside and say, “Lord, thank You for doing a work in me.” See, I’ve learned that God is more interested in changing me than He is in changing my circumstances. If I choose to stay sour because I’m not getting my way or discouraged because things aren’t happening on my time table, that’s going to keep me right where I am.
If you want to see change, if you want to see God open up new doors, the key is to bloom right where you’re planted. You can’t wait until everything gets better before you decide to have a good attitude. You have to be the best that you can be right where you are. When you bloom where you’re planted, you’re allowing God to work in you, and He will be faithful to complete what He’s started in you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank You for doing a work in me. I choose to align myself with Your plan by blooming where I’m planted. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be an example of Your love and life everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Polycystic ovary syndrom (PCOS) causes a wide range of symptoms, so it may be hard to know when to see your doctor. But early diagnosis and treatment will help prevent serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. See your doctor if you have symptoms that suggest PCOS.
Call your doctor right away or seek immediate medical care if:
You have severe vaginal bleeding. You are passing clots of blood and soaking through your usual pads or tampons every hour for 2 or more hours.
Call your doctor if you have:
More vaginal bleeding, or bleeding is more irregular.
Regular menstrual cycles but you have been trying unsuccessfully to become pregnant for more than 12 months.
Any symptoms of diabetes, such as increased thirst and frequent urination (especially at night), unexplained increase in appetite, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, blurred vision, or tingling or numbness in your hands or feet.
Depression or mood swings. Many women may have emotional problems related to the physical symptoms of PCOS, such as excess hair, obesity, or infertility.

I skipped breakfast today womp 😩, I know I shouldn’t have but I just didn’t feel like eating this morning. For those of you who are wondering why I’m posting my meals it’s because I have #pcos and through these postings I’m hoping to bring awareness about it since like many of you I didn’t know about it till I was diagnosed .
Today’s meal is penne pasta , stir fried broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and shrimp. I’m trying my best to keep up with five small meals throughout the day we’ll see how that works out .
Quick information on #PCOS:
Because there is no cure for PCOS, it needs to be managed to prevent problems. Treatment goals are based on your symptoms, whether or not you want to become pregnant, and lowering your chances of getting heart disease , cancer and diabetes. Many women will need a combination of treatments to meet these goals. Some treatments for PCOS include:
Lifestyle modification. Many women with PCOS are overweight or obese, which can cause health problems. You can help manage your PCOS by eating healthy and exercising to keep your weight at a healthy level. Healthy eating tips include:
Limiting processed foods and foods with added sugars
Adding more whole-grain products, fruits, vegetables, and lean meats to your diet
This helps to lower blood glucose (sugar) levels, improve the body’s use of insulin, and normalize hormone levels in your body. Even a 10 percent loss in body weight can restore a normal period and make your cycle more regular.

So here is what Im having for dinner
Pan fried tilapia with stir fried broccoli , mushrooms and shrimp and a bottle water .
I choose broccoli tonight instead of spinach because the health benefits of broccoli are wide and varied. Many people already know that broccoli contains cancer-fighting substances, but did you know that this crunchy green vegetable may also be one of the best foods for women with #PCOS? Broccoli is very low in calories, contains less than 1% fat, and ranks low on the glycemic index. It is also one of the best dairy-free sources of calcium (although your body can only absorb about 60% of the calcium in broccoli, that is still a decent amount). Broccoli provides plenty of calcium which is an important anti-PCOS mineral.
To get the most out of broccoli’s health benefits, choose organically grown plants (they are typically more nutrient-dense and contain fewer harmful substances) and eat them raw or slightly steamed. When steaming broccoli, keep in mind that the fibrous stems take longer to cook than the florets, and therefore you should wait a few minutes before adding the florets to the steamer.
